Julie has been interested in event planning for as long as she can remember. The Arizona native realized early on that The Grand Canyon state would become a popular destination. With this in mind, Julie attended Northern Arizona University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in hospitality. Since graduating from college, Julie has focused on networking with other industry-related individuals to develop and gather the necessary skills, contacts, and confidence to do her job well.

With a proven track record in working with resorts, private clubs, corporations and catering companies, Julie has gained a thorough understanding of the business as well as the motivation to provide premier event planning and consultation services.

Drawing from her personal and professional experience with numerous events, her involvement in the community with several organizations, and passion for planning, Julie opened The Event Concierge in 2006.

From figuring out how many chairs to order to coordinating the colors of the flowers on the tables, Julie loves working behind the scenes, organizing every last detail of an event until it is perfect. Nothing makes her happier than to see the final event or product all come together, and knowing she’s had a hand in the personal or professional successes of her clients.
